Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives. Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents out of every dollar spent has gone directly to our program services for Veterans. HFOT builds these homes where the Veteran chooses to live, and continues its relationship with the Veterans after home delivery to assist them with rebuilding their lives.

The Gavin Foundation is a nonprofit agency providing comprehensive adult, youth and community substance abuse education, prevention and treatment programs. Established in South Boston in 1963, we now serve over 10,000 individuals each year from Massachusetts and beyond.

The Gavin Foundation offers a continuum of care to individuals, support services to their families, and programs to increase community awareness and acceptance regarding addiction and recovery.

Team IMPACT connects children battling serious or chronic illnesses with college athletic teams, forming lifelong bonds and life-changing outcomes. Through our program, a child battling illness becomes an official member of a college athletic team for two years, attending practices, games, team dinners and more—where they serve not only as teammates, but as inspiration.

WriteBoston fosters deep learning for youth and educators. We elevate and reshape the role of literacy — writing, reading, and discussion — so that all youth think critically and can use their voice to create change.

The Boston Debate League prepares young people for college, career, and engagement with the world through debate-inspired learning in the classroom and beyond. We create inclusive learning communities for all, centering the experiences and assets of Black, Latino, and other marginalized young people in Boston.

The Boston Home is an innovative, diverse community for adults with advanced neurological disorders. Our state-of-the-art services enable members of our community to lead creative and purposeful lives. We are leaders in achieving excellence in standards of care.

Interfaith Social Services provides South Shore residents with the resources necessary to support a healthy and fulfilling life. Our team of clinicians, staff and volunteers deliver programs focused on alleviating hunger, providing mental health counseling, preventing homelessness, and bringing joy to children.

Milton Youth Cheer is an exciting way to provide the youth of Milton an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading and teamwork. We strive to teach the young athletes how to work together towards a common goal, support each other through teamwork and camaraderie, and build confidence and strength. We focus on building character, self-confidence, teaching responsibility, athletic skills, and positivity in a competitive environment while gaining a strong sense of community. Our cheerleaders learn that time, effort, physical training, attendance and participation in practice makes the team strong and well-prepared. Mastering the skills required to succeed instills pride, self-respect, the will to win, and the courage to accept defeat when necessary. All this occurs with a constant emphasis on sportsmanship.
