Learn About the October 2023 Trust 1 Cares Nominees
Braintree Food Pantry
In the early 1980s, our president and managing director, Agnes Lynch and her family experienced the devastaion and insecurity of job loss. After exhausting all available resources, it was their faith and trust in God alone that got them through. From that experience, the idea of a food pantry in Braintree was born. Through miracles and answered prayers, a faith based Community Food Pantry for Braintree residents became a reality in April 1993
Weymouth Youth & Family Services Teen Center
A place where teens can visit after school to spend time doing homework, hang out with friends & play video games.
Interfaith Social Services
Interfaith Social Services provides South Shore residents with the resources necessary to support a healthy and fulfilling life. Our team of clinicians, staff and volunteers deliver programs focused on alleviating hunger, providing mental health counseling, preventing homelessness, and bringing joy to children.

Thank You & Congratulations to Milton Youth Cheer – Our October Winners!
Milton Youth Cheer is an exciting way to provide the youth of Milton an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading and teamwork. We strive to teach the young athletes how to work together towards a common goal, support each other through teamwork and camaraderie, and build confidence and strength. We focus on building character, self-confidence, teaching responsibility, athletic skills, and positivity in a competitive environment while gaining a strong sense of community. Our cheerleaders learn that time, effort, physical training, attendance and participation in practice makes the team strong and well-prepared. Mastering the skills required to succeed instills pride, self-respect, the will to win, and the courage to accept defeat when necessary. All this occurs with a constant emphasis on sportsmanship.
